As
an interior designer Elaine was looking for interesting papers
to work with. She fell in-love with a gold iridescent card
stock and the coordinating envelopes. "It is such a smooth
paper and the shimmer is breathtaking." The fabric-like texture
of the Japanese Obani paper laid on the gold set off a delicate
yet very rich looking contrast. Elaine's own design was used
in her invitation and appeared in gold foil at the top of
each invitation. This invitation defines Simple Elegance
and is truly unique.

Jameela
and Rahim wanted to create an invitation that would reflect
traditional elements of their culture while introducing sage
as their wedding's colour. They both quickly agreed on the
pearl iridescent postcard and coordinating envelope which
are part of our standard line. They wanted the "wow factor",
but needed affordability too since they were sending out to
more than 500 guests. Separate inserts were also created for
Rahim's Pithi and Jameela's Mandvo with similar style. The
pearl finish of the stock gave this layout a beautiful glow
that was complimented by many of their guests.

Kerry
had a vision of a mauve iridescent postcard style invitation
with a watermarked calla lily design in the background. She
was amazed at how fast we were able to capture her vision
and was thrilled to carry the style over to the ceremony by
having the Order of Service printed on the same iridescent
stock. Coordinating place-cards, table-cards, seating posters
and wine labels are other great ways to carry a look and style
over to a reception.

Garrett
purposed to Kathleen in a hot air balloon and they wanted
to bring this as a theme to their wedding invitations and
accessories. The eggplant backboard matched the brides maids
dresses perfectly introducing the colours of the wedding from
the start. The face of this card was printed on a pearl shimmer
stock with eggplant coloured ink. They accessorized with coordinating
gift tags, candles, candies and small cake box which they
attached balloons to for the children. Accessorizing with
the same stocks used in an invitation is an easy and affordable
way to create a theme from the start.

"Two
lives, two hearts, two souls combined. Love, Loyalty and friendship
be intertwined." This verse was specially written for Lindsay
who wanted to bring an Irish theme to her wedding reception
since she could not be in Ireland as she had dreamed. Lindsay
and Tim were quick to agree on this stunning emerald green
iridescent backboard laid with a pearl shimmer stock on the
face, printed with emerald ink. The couple also enjoyed creating
their own logo online and used it to accessories at the reception.

This
couple was after a custom invitation that would incorporate
both their cultures. Reema and Mark were thrilled with the
final product, which turned out to be a true masterpiece.
Gold iridescent paper was backed onto a white Obani paper
to make the covers. A silky translucent wrap then encased the cover
and was held together with burgundy ribbon and a gold leaf
clip. Inside the multiple Invitations, Sangeet and reply cards
were also made with different combinations of the handmade
gold iridescent and white Obani paper. Stunning!

accommodate the dragonfly theme they wanted. They had great

Christina
and Michael chose a natural parchment paper to work with.
A fall theme was important to them and the colour red was
a must. The invitation had their names and the date foiled
in gold giving it a special touch. They carried this look
into their wedding event by accessorising with place-cards
and wine labels made with the same stock.

The
natural fluted paper pocket encased a travel information card
and a translation card as Nadia and Seb were being married
in the Dominican Republic. The wedding information card was
mounted on the front of the pocket and sited details in both
French and English. The pocket and invitation were tied shut

Melony
and Brian were looking for something unique that featured
gold and navy blue. To achieve this we used a real leaf to
create the graphic. The tri-fold invitation was printed on
both sides and was tied shut with natural coloured raffia.
The couple kept the leaf that was used to frame with their
invitation. Very unique! They brought their look to the reception
by giving bookmarks and candles to their guests.

Kim
and Sherif's postcard invitation was printed on a bright-white
linen textured card stock. It featured a fold over flap at
the top with a specialty cut giving it a three dimensional
appearance. At their reception they put a custom printed die
cut box with chocolates on each setting as a place-card. They
tied blue or yellow bows on each box indicating meal preferences.
A clever idea!
